Position Overview

The Ohio State University College of Nursing invites applicants for a part-time faculty appointment in the Master of Clinical Research Program. This program is an interdisciplinary graduate degree program that prepares students to work in the clinical research industry, excelling as administrators, regulatory specialists and other professional roles on clinical research teams.

We are seeking a 12-month faculty committed to excellence in teaching in an associated track faculty position. Under the supervision of the Associate Dean for Graduate Programs, this faculty member will join a dynamic team of faculty and will prepare and deliver didactic course work in an online asynchronous setting,  implement curriculum that meets national standards, evaluate student learning, and mentor students. Desired expertise includes professional experiences in the clinical research profession, including but not limited to study coordination, project management, data management, and regulatory affairs at an academic institution, pharmaceutical company, contract research organization, or other similar entities.

Performance Objectives

  • Effectively work with students, faculty, and staff
  • Deliver evidenced-based curriculum that meets national standards to students
  • Successfully participate in a team teaching environment

Additional Information:

Education and Experience Requirements

Required: Masters degree or higher; at least 5 years experience in a clinical research management, residence in the State of Ohio.

Desired: Doctoral degree preferred; two years of recent collegiate teaching experience is preferred.
