We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Informatics Integration Project Coordinator to join our team and support our customer
This is a 100% Remote position.
This position will assist the Program Management team directly and support the implementation and operational activities related to the MHS GENESIS electronic health record deployment to Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs). This includes, but not limited to, coordinating, and performing a variety of analytical, and administrative support tasks, performing on site and remote preparation, assisting in the monitoring of day-to-day project performance, communicating with vendors and MTF pharmacy leadership/personnel to provide technical expertise and project support. The position requires understanding of technical and clinical requirements, ability to conform to government contracting processes, strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask while performing with the highest professional conduct.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Direct all administrative activities, such as coordinating meetings, maintaining numerous spreadsheets of information and data, tracking, updating, and closing action items within the team
- Provide on-MTF site and virtual support for MTF Pharmacy MHS GENESIS Implementation events prior to and during go-live events
- Perform complex evaluations of existing procedures, processes, techniques, models, and/or systems related to system implementation and adoption
- Develop reports and recommend solutions
- Develop work breakdown structures, prepare charts, tables, graphs and diagrams to assist in analyzing problems
- Provide metrics and analysis to support forward-looking decision-making, based on data
- Provide daily supervision and direction to staff
- Support virtual data collection and meetings throughout implementation
- Assist with Change Management to support the adoption of new workflows, processes, and policies associated with implementing the system
- Perform Adoption Assessment to reinforce the Change Management activities
- Draft/assist in preparation of information papers and briefings
- Organize meetings including appropriate meeting materials and record minutes for meetings as required
- Monitor, schedule and assist with action items as required
- Assist in the development of Standard Operating Procedures for EHR Implementation activities
- Other duties as assigned
Work Experience:
- 2 to 3 years of experience in performing all the above duties and responsibilities
- Federal consulting experience preferred
- Familiarity with healthcare information technology preferred
- MHS GENESIS experience preferred
Job Skills:
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with Microsoft Project
- Ability to support the integration and adoption of IT process, standards, policies, and controls
- Ability to work collaboratively and cohesively in a team environment
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Strong group facilitation and communication skills
- Strong consulting skills, including excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Great client relationship man
