Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a talented =Mechanical Engineer Asc - Early Career, to join our team in Littleton, CO designing and developing Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) for aerospace and defense applications.

This role focuses on the mechanical integration of RF rack assemblies and internal connection diagrams that incorporate equipment such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes. You will collaborate closely with RF Engineers to package and deliver robust, high-performance systems.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Design internal connection diagrams based on system requirements and test equipment configurations
• Create detailed 3D mechanical assembly drawings for RF rack systems
• Develop harness drawings that meet precise pinout and mating specifications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RF systems with other EGSE components

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Knowledge of mechanical drawings
• Experience with 3D and/or 2D modeling
• Must be a US citizen

Desired skills

• Experience with engineering CAD tools (Creo, Solid Works, I-DEAS, Microsoft Visio, Zuken, etc.)
• Strong understanding of system packaging and mechanical integration
• Minimum of 0-2 years of experience in mechanical design or equivalent academic training
• Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team
• Experience with EGSE systems and applications
• Ability and desire to assume ownership of tasks and drive to closure quickly and efficiently.
• Experience in managing research or design projects
• EGSE Design experience
• Experience with configuration management and Engineering Data Product release process within the Engineering Product Data Management (EPDM) system.
• Automation Framework experience
• Knowledge of LM Space command media.
