Job Description

Our Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the activities within the department. This role involves leading a team of warehouse workers following all safety requirements, 6S standards, receiving, put-away, order processing and shipping processes accurately and on time. The Team Lead is also responsible for coordinating with transportation providers, assisting with inventory management, and implementing process improvements to optimize efficiency and productivity.  Strong organization and communication skills are essential for this role.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on leadership and guidance to ensure work orders are processed correctly and in a timely basis.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure shipments are complete and the logistics is handled appropriately.
• Act as a key resource to provide leadership to those working in the department utilizing their experience, skills, knowledge, and abilities.
• Will be the main partner for new associates acclimating into the Bosch culture.
• Provide coaching and training on operational tasks and reinforce operational standards.
• Work closely with customer service representatives, operations personnel, planners, and the logistics network to ensure production schedules are met and customer demands are understood.
• Work closely with Value Stream Leaders to understand and mitigate risk of falling short of planned Key Performance Indicators.
• Assist Value Stream Leaders with problem resolution when handling complaints from customers.  
• Ensure that staffing levels are appropriate to address daily workload.
• Ensure training requirements are met through effective coaching and communication.
• Provide refresher training as required for associates.
• Provide feedback to the Value Stream Leaders during for 30/60/90-day assessments.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• High school diploma. 
  • Preferred: Operations Management Certificate in Applied Science or related coursework.
• 3 years progressive experience in a warehouse position with a minimum 2 years in a leadership role.

• Strong mathematical competency.
• Skilled in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) particularly with Enterprise Warehouse Management (EWM) programs.
• Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Highly attentive to detail, in addition to strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
