Meade, MD. This opportunity is ideal for individuals interested in supporting technical operations through hands-on logistics, dismantling, and accountability functions. Your efforts will ensure compliance, organization, and integrity across physical equipment processes.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Perform physical dismantling and demilitarization of hardware in accordance with proper classification and sanitization procedures
- Conduct equipment surveys and inventories to ensure accurate tracking
- Maintain accountability of all processed items, ensuring 100% material tracking
- Manage logistical services related to equipment processing and database status tracking
- Prepare functional requirements and detailed specifications for hardware disposal
- Generate reports and analysis to support documentation and operational needs
- Identify issues and ensure proposed solutions meet technical and operational requirements
- Protect and account for controlled access materials, limiting access to authorized individuals only
Minimum Qualifications
- Knowledge of troubleshooting and repairing hardware systems or controlled access materials
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university, or technical certification from a recognized trade school
- Experience handling, using, and storing cryptographic equipment, with familiarity in DoD procedures
Security Clearance Requirements
- Must possess a current and active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, carrying, and dismantling hardware.
- Frequently moves equipment and interacts with technical teams. Must be able to communicate effectively while ensuring accurate documentation is maintained.
