About the role

SUMMARY 

The Training Specialist II is responsible for designing, developing and delivering effective training programs to enhance the knowledge, skills, and performance of employees within an organizationCollaborates with Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders to ensure the effectiveness of the training program

Must be able to obtain and maintain the required customer clearance for access to systems, facilities, equipment and property. 

 

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

Essential Duties and responsibilities include the followingOther duties may be assigned. 

 

Conducts assessments and collaborates with stakeholders to identify training needs and gaps in employee knowledge or skills. Analyzes performance data, conduct surveys or interviews, and review job descriptions to determine training priorities with supervisor’s input. 

 

Knowledge designing and developing training curricula that align with organizational goals and objectives. Creates comprehensive training plans, outline learning paths, and select appropriate instructional methods and materials. 

 

Delivers training sessions using various methods such as classroom instruction, virtual classrooms, e-learning modules, or on-the-job training. Facilitates engaging and interactive learning experiences that cater to different learning styles. 

 

Creates or selects instructional materials such as presentations, handouts, videos, or online resources to support the training programs. Ensures content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with the learning objectives 

 

Designs evaluation methods to assess the effectiveness of the training programs. Develops assessments, quizzes, or other evaluation tools to measure learner performance and gather feedback for continuous improvement. 

 

Coordinates logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, venue setup, equipment preparation, and participant registration.  

 

Keeps accurate records of all training activities, including attendance records, evaluation results, and participant feedback are maintained. May also update training materials or documentation based on feedback or changes in processes or procedures. 

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 

Bachelor's degree in organizational development, Human Resources, Education or related field and a minimum of two to four (2-4) years of related experience or combination of education and experience. 

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS 

 Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Regularly required to sit. Regularly required use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms to handle objects and operate tools, computer, and/or controls. Required to speak and hear. Occasionally required to stand, walk
