TITLE: Property Tax Representative

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Position is responsible for property tax compliance, property appraisals and other related property tax matters

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 10 or more years of previous property tax appraisal experience required
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and Windows based PC skills
• Must have very good oral and written communication skills
• Must be able to travel and manage time effectively
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Review and assess if property tax assessments are fair and reasonable
• Review and approve property tax bills
• Incorporate and manage newly acquired properties
• Analyze and Prepare Property Tax Appraisals
• Work with accounting team and managers to retrieve information to comply with property tax requirements
• Inspect or walk through facilities as needed for appraisal information
• Build a working relationship with assessors
• Represent and present on company's behalf at property tax hearings
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
