Senior Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd shift

Overview

Position Summary:

Performs the maintenance repair, overhaul, setup and installation of all the plant equipment.

Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities

Essential Functions:

• Examines and diagnoses plant equipment to correct operating difficulties including filling and packaging machines, lyophilization and support equipment, stoppering and closure machinery, labeling, packaging and finishing equipment, conveying, transferring and materials handling equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance to include lubrication, cleaning, servicing, inspecting, and testing of equipment in accordance with maintenance procedures.
• Disassembles, cleans, lubricates, repairs, and reassembles equipment in need of overhaul or as part of a preventive maintenance
• Replaces or repairs frozen or worn bearings, broken or worn parts, leaking supply lines and/or systems, gears, shafts, drive sprockets, chains, valves, belts, electrical or mechanical systems, hydraulic drives, and/or control systems
• Assist  in  validation  of new equipment  and re-validation  of existing  equipment  as needed
• Records,  files,  maintains  and  makes  readily  available  all  records,  logs,  parts' lists, suppliers'  lists, work  records (both  performed  and to be performed), stock records,  manuals  and/or  all  other  required  maintenance   records  and/or  files relating to all plant operating equipment
• All other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge & Experience Required for the Position:

• High School diploma or equivalent 7 years of experience in plant maintenance.

Physical Requirements:

• This position requires the ability to lift and move materials per current OSHA standards

The hourly wage range Werfen reasonably expects to pay for the position is $35 to $40.  Compensation is reasonably based upon multiple factors including education, relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, and specific needs of the business.
