The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Tool Integration Analyst to join the Tool Engineering Team in North Charleston, SC. The candidate should know about project planning, metrics development, and oversight of tool order and drawing release compliance. The ideal candidate will know about tooling in a production environment, and Boeing systems & processes used to procure and maintain production tooling.
This fast-paced role requires attention to detail to ensure the on-time delivery of quality tools and compliance with Boeing and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day assignments may vary in complexity and priority, as part of the propulsion tooling team that supports multiple airplane programs over the entirety of the product lifecycle.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assists in the integration of technical, cost, value, risks, and specialty engineering considerations regarding propulsion tooling.
- Researches, analyzes, and compiles complex technical data in support of team deliverables. Provides data for management review and tracking performance to plan.
- Interfaces with other members of the project or program teams, management, sales and marketing staff, customers, and suppliers to meet group, organization, and company objectives.
- Researches and evaluates strategic organizational issues and identifies options.
- Performs technical planning and control; maintains and improves processes and software tools.
- Creates, updates, and maintains tooling product documentation and procedures.
- Performs tooling product media processing to ensure the validity of configuration definition, products, and document control.
- Oversees training, leads, and mentors others.
- Works under minimal direction.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
- 5+ years working in Equipment or Tool Engineering
- 5+ years of experience communicating with teammates, internal customers, suppliers, and leadership
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+4 years' related work experience, 8 years' related work experience, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 10+ years working in Equipment or Tool Engineering
- 10+ years of experience with propulsion systems
- Experience in Boeing Software/systems used for procuring and maintaining Boeing tools (e.g., Ariba, ETVS)
- Project management software familiarization and/or use preferred.
