Our purpose is simple - to deliver a sustainable future for the world through science and collaboration. If you’re looking for a challenge and meaningful role, you’re in the right place. </p><p></p><p></p><p>About you and this role </p><p>We are looking for a Senior Turnaround Manager located in Terneuzen, The Netherlands.</p><p></p><p>In this role you will have the responsibility of ensuring a large turnaround (TA) in one of our Light Hydrocarbon (LHC) and Aromatics &amp; Butadiene plants is executed safely, effectively and efficiently.</p><p></p><p>You will lead the turnaround team on planning, estimating, scheduling and execution by using Dow's Mega Turnaround Work Process. Moreover, you will ensure the appropriate and timely involvement of all functions critical to the success of this turnaround. </p><p></p><p>This role requires specialized depth and breadth of expertise within the job discipline or field.</p><p></p><p>Responsibilities</p><ul><li>You will lead the core Turnaround team to ensure effective work coordination, planning, scheduling, cost management, and material management.</li><li>You will lead the Turnaround Steering team to align Operations, Projects, Maintenance, and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&amp;S) functions.</li><li>You will incorporate best practices and learnings from previous turnarounds.</li><li>You will develop the staffing plan for both planning and execution phase.</li><li>You will define work list by freeze date; enforce administrative controls for add-ons after freeze date and ensure that all scope is captured: compliance, inspections, maintenance and (capital) projects.</li><li>You will develop critical path - integrate operations, projects, and maintenance activities and optimize.</li><li>You will develop and maintain the turnaround schedules and turnaround cost estimates.</li><li>You will drive the development of the labor &amp; supply plan and collaborate with Purchasing and Contract Management to ensure that service providers are contracted on time.</li><li>You will  ensure that the turnaround schedule is integrated seamlessly with all activities – prime off to prime on, including shutdown, decontamination, execution, commissioning, and start up.</li><li>You will ensure that the Turnaround is planned and executed in compliance with EH&amp;S and environmental standards and regulations.</li><li>You will control the timely creation of turnaround job packages.</li><li>You will estimate cost of the turnaround based on scoped work; adjusts plans to meet constraints.</li><li>You will coordinate site integration and resource issues through the Site Turnaround Leader and the Steering team.</li><li>You will control the cost and timing of the turnaround to meet the business and site needs.</li><li>You will coordinate the project integration of all turnaround related project scope.</li><li>You will ensure the turnaround work process milestones are met with high quality deliverables.</li><li>You will manage issues during execution to achieve all business goals.</li><li>You will prepare and communicates closure reports.
