Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Licensed Electricians for projects located in the Portland, OR area. This is a full time opportunity, and the pay rate is $50/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:         

• Ensure compliance with all applicable electrical codes and safety regulations
• Install and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, power systems, and components for machinery and equipment
• Interpret and follow electrical code manuals, blueprints, diagrams, and schematics
• Install and repair control and distribution systems including motors, relays, switches, thermostats, and circuit breaker panels
• Connect power supply wiring, cables, and conduits to machinery and equipment in both new and existing facilities
• Use testing instruments to diagnose issues and test circuit continuity to ensure safety and compatibility
• Perform measurements, cutting, threading, and installation of electrical conduit using appropriate tools
• Conduct preventive maintenance on Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), motors, pumps, generators, and other equipment
• Receive, prioritize, and complete work orders efficiently
• Estimate materials, labor time, and select proper tools and hardware for assigned jobs
• Maintain accurate records of materials used and labor performed
• Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies
• Conduct job site inspections and ensure work areas are clean and secure
• Collaborate with building principals and supervisors to complete assigned projects
• Identify and report required repairs on buildings, grounds, and equipment as per inspection protocols
• Understand the facility’s electrical system functionality under both normal and emergency operating conditions
• Respond promptly to emergency electrical service calls

Requirements

• OR Journeyman License
