We are currently seeking a Sr Manager IT Operations of Budget, Finances, Workforce and Vendor Management.  This position requires an experienced professional to work directly with the Director of IT Planning. The Planning and Operations Office is comprised of IT Strategy & Planning, IT Financial Management, IT Operations and Management, IT Vendor Management, IT Workforce Planning and Resource Management, Chief Information Officer Council Governance, and the Chiefs of Staff teams. The Chief Operations Office organization develops and executes IT Operations & Technology strategic and operational plans, as well as provides central coordination of all IT business office functions. You have a strong background in IT Management Planning and ability to execute several transformational workforce projects, preferably in an Automotive industry or an Industrial company. Role:

  • Responsibility for alignment and partnership of all leaders supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial management  
  • Define and set up regular cadence for review and report budget to actuals for entire IT budget, partnering with FP&A, 
  • Main liaison with FP&A, procurement and IT leads on day to day tasks to support cost management for IT
  • Deliver a global view to IT leaders and leaders outside IT that have spend plan in IT budget – current state of financials and adjust plan accordingly based on business needs
  • Partner with procurement to ensure budget to spend alignment 
  • Drive  financial  accountability across team and train leaders on P&L responsibilities as outlined by finance team
  • Define and build a proactive & substantiable process for management of all of software, hardware and professional services procurement in partnership w
  • Participate  and provide financial  analysis for in RFPs, evaluations of new purchases  (TCO / ROI)….
  • Vendor Management responsible for managing relationships with specific vendors and serving as the IT organization's point of contact. Researches, analyzes and evaluates vendors and recommends new vendor purchases. Provides support to the organization for problems with vendor products and services
