Job Description
Focus Features digital marketing is responsible for the digital promotion of both specialty and wide release theatrical films in the United States. The group creates, manages, and optimizes campaigns that utilize all methods of digital marketing and advertising, covering mobile and desktop websites, digital advertising creative, applications, custom video content, online publicity, and social media programs.
The Digital Analytics Coordinator will support the Digital Analytics Director in all aspects of movie marketing analytics and data strategy. The role is focused on analytics and reporting for theatrical movie releases and will work with data from digital media campaigns, social media, site analytics, 3rd party tools, and internal databases. They will also assist with reporting and analytics for Focus Insiders, the Focus Features loyalty program.
Exceptional communication skills both one-on-one and across all levels of management are crucial. Individuals must be able to handle multiple responsibilities and to efficiently juggle a workload in the face of shifting priorities and deadlines. Attention to detail is extremely important.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in marketing, media, or analytics
- Bachelor’s degree
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, and Excel. Plus if candidate has familiarity with Google docs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (strong writings skills are essential)
- Strong handle of all things numbers-related
- Initiative - demonstrate initiative by confidently self-starting improvements to reports and processes and requires minimal supervision
- Detailed oriented - pays attention to multiple details and multiple tasks while minimizing errors
- Organization - must be organized in approach and execution of work as multiple tasks will arise
- Assist Director in data and analytics projects
- Thorough knowledge of the entertainment industry, specifically digital marketing, media, or analytics
- Work with internal digital marketing and media teams, media agency, and outside vendors to help gather data and provide recommendations for film marketing campaigns
- Prepare reports and dashboards that monitor film campaign health
- Monitor paid and organic creative performance, report findings to team
- Access web reporting systems to monitor traffic to websites and features
- Maintain benchmark documents
- Help curate 1st party audience segments to use in media targeting
- Help analyze engagement and growth of the Focus Insider loyalty program
Eligibility Requirements:

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary Range: $50,000-$60,000; not bonus eligible, not long-term incentive eligible.
