Job Description

We are looking for a Digital Content Production Artist to accelerate the growth of our Cricut Design Space library. The ideal candidate will have a strong content design background plus a solid understanding of software processing and tool integration to drive continuous improvement and increase throughput. You will have the opportunity to partner with Illustrators, Product Managers and Software Engineers to streamline, automate and scale content processing for our fast-growing user base. 

Responsibilities: 

• 60% Process SVG, AI, PNG, OTF and other file types to be compatible with our growing library of Cricut cutting machines, proprietary software, and other ecosystem products 

• 20% Input relevant content metadata according to the library taxonomy to for search optimization and improved user navigation flows 

• 10% Collaborate cross-functionally to drive development of automated solutions for content improvement, process optimization, and improved data integrity to accelerate throughput and increase quality 

• 5% Test content compatibility for new machine launches and optimize construction as needed to support new products and features 

• 5 % Submit internal tool bugs and feature build tickets to drive continuous improvement 

Qualifications

• Passion for the consumer – desire to deeply know Cricut members, translating the consumer needs into improved content solutions. DIY/crafting experience preferred, bonus points if it’s with the Cricut 

• Entrepreneurial spirit – ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and willingness to overcome any barriers that arise. Must be comfortable with ambiguity and demonstrate an ability to work through unknowns 

• Detail oriented and quality driven – insuring our art gives the best experience for the Cricut members. 

• Excellent communication skills – demonstrated use of written, presentation and verbal skills to influence cross-functionally and gain stakeholder buy-in 

• Team player – build strong relationships with cross-functional teams 

• Data-driven decisions – know how to get and analyze data to make business decisions, balancing thoughtful research with the need for timeliness 

• Continuous improvement mindset – solid understanding of software process flows and automation opportunity areas 

• Strong leadership potential – Cricut is growing fast, and we need strong talent who can grow with us and become future leaders 

• Proficiency in graphic design including Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop 

• Experience with Project Management tools is a plus (Workfront, Airtable, etc.) 

• Experience with Mac OS and Windows 2000 or later and Office 365
