About the Team
The Enterprise Document Management Platform team is responsible for managing the Enterprise system of record for over 15 billion customer-related documents that power critical servicing, business need, and regulatory compliance across the Enterprise. We’re looking for a Senior Manager to own the foundational platform strategy that supports secure, scalable, and resilient document and metadata lifecycle management. The individual will drive platform modernization initiatives while ensuring robust data governance and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity and can take broad, undefined problem statements and drive them to solutions through cross-functional leadership and rigorous discovery.

What you’ll do:
Own the vision and roadmap for the core platform balancing near-term operational excellence with long-term modernization priorities
Lead multiple engineering teams to design and deliver platform features that serve a diverse base of enterprise stakeholders
Drive our self-service strategy to enable intent owners to independently configure, onboard, and manage their use cases without platform team dependency
Define and manage how use cases interact with the platform by setting clear standards for onboarding, API contracts, and incident management
Drive continuous improvement in platform API performance, usability, and operational efficiency at enterprise scale
Ensure the platform meets enterprise data governance, compliance, and architectural standards as requirements evolve
Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across the LOBs and platform teams that depend on our infrastructure
Basic Qualifications:
- Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:
- A Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field), Business or Marketing
OR
- Bachelor's degree in any field and 4 years of Product Management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
Chicago, IL: $182,500 - $208,300 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management; $149,800 - $171,000 for MApply for this role
