Job Description
THE POSITION:
The People Specialist is responsible for performing HR-related duties including: more complex employee relation situations (to include separation agreements, terminations and severe workplace violations) and problem solving including payroll and benefits administration issues, general EVERSANA employee support, on boarding and offboarding processes, recruitment/employment recommendations and decisions, and affirmative action and employment law compliance for a specific EVERSANA location or locations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our employees are tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of their teams. These results are achieved by:
- Collaborates with assigned service line senior leadership as well as direct supervisor to understand the organization's goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.
- Networks to ensure compensation and recruiting trends are being monitored as they relate to assigned services lines and/or the life science industry.
- Plans, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organizations human resource compliance and strategy needs.
- Administers or oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, leaves, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, morale, and training and development.
- Identifies staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring and talent management.
- Conducts research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics from the organizations human capital management system.
- Monitors and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.
- Maintains confidentiality of employee health information, employee relations issues, compensation.
- Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias.
- All other duties as assigned.

EXPECTATIONS OF THE JOB:
- Location: 100% on-site at our warehouse facilities in Memphis, TN.
- Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Travel: None expected
