Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership in key HR areas, including talent management, employee engagement, organizational development, and workforce planning, ensuring excellence and compliance across all HR services.

  • Proactively engage with local site leaders for the identified region, acting as a thought partner on business, people and organization-related opportunities to drive business results. 

  • Partner closely with the HR organization to plan, develop and implement initiatives and programs in talent acquisition, leadership & employee development, compensation, benefits, HRIS, training & development to ensure employees’ needs are understood and met by corporate-wide initiatives. 

  • Establish clear metrics and KPI’s to assess HR program effectiveness, leveraging data-driven insights to inform decision-making and strategic improvements.

  • Develop cross-functional HR talent and elevate the overall HR function.  

  • Contribute to the development of the Corporate HR strategy and ensure the alignment with the regional business strategy.

  • Ensure quality and timely execution of all talent process elements within the region in particular the Talent review process.

  • Work closely with the Vice President Global Human Resources regarding organizational development and implementation of HR strategies.

  • Ensure legal compliance and adherence to our Guiding Principles and Corporate HR guidelines & policies, within the region.

  • Ensure timely execution of all Corporate HR Strategy measures within the region.

  • Assess and identify talent acquisition needs; partner with local HR and Talent Acquisition teams to build talent pools, cultivate talent, identify critical capabilities, etc. 

  • Assess and identify retention and engagement trends and partner with local HR and Corporate HR to develop and implement retention and engagement strategies.  Lead the implementation of strategies to ensure that employees feel motivated, engaged, and supported in the organization.

  • Represent FM within the regional Freudenberg HR network(s).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field

  • 10+ years in Human Resources, with a solid foundation across all HR functions, including talent management, total rewards, employee relations and compliance.

  • Proven experience leading HR, ideally with a medical device company.

  • Demonstrated experience as a cross-functional partner who communicates and collaborates well and can indirectly influence in a matrixed environment. 

  • Thorough understanding of North America HR practices, including regulatory compliance, compensation and benefits.

  • Knowledge of Workday preferred.
