Our Powertrain Operations facility, located on Pilgrim Road in Menomonee Falls, WI, is where the “jewel” of the motorcycle comes to life. Pilgrim Road employees produce engines and transmissions for the final assembly plant in York, Pennsylvania, as well as transmissions, and replacement parts for sale through Harley-Davidson® Genuine Motor Parts and Accessories business. Job Summary

The Maintenance Planner and Scheduler will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of the maintenance department. This role is responsible for coordinating and planning maintenance activities to minimize downtime, optimize resources, and maximize equipment reliability. By strategically scheduling maintenance tasks, the planner will help prevent costly breakdowns and ensure that equipment operates at peak performance levels.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop maintenance plan for scheduling, execution, and follow-up of the following: emergent maintenance, preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and planned maintenance
  • Maintain and ensure accuracy of the CMMS, update as needed
  • Plan daily work and collaborate with Maintenance and Production Supervisors
  • Plan maintenance jobs, to include the following: issuing and reviewing work orders for CMMS, reviewing parts and tools required, and providing detailed work instructions
  • Organize and maintain spare parts lists, manuals, and drawings as needed
  • Collaborate with Maintenance Supervisor on planning labor for all maintenance plans
  • Provide support as needed to maintenance technicians
  • Manage and implement plans to reduce backlog work across Machining and Assembly areas
  • Use data and statistical problem-solving techniques to improve the plant reliability as measured by KPI’s 

Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Education Specifications

  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred

 

Experience Requirements

Required
Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience 

 
Preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree in an Maintenance or Engineering discipline preferred
  • Experience in a variety of machining and assembly processes, including CNC Machines 
  • Experience in detail process planning and continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge in CAD, network/software and PC applications.
  • Knowledge in machining operations and equipment
  • SAP experience (ECC)
  • Reliability Engineering Experience
