What will I be doing? 

ü Manage the coordination and execution of projects and initiatives related to teacher registered apprenticeship/pre-apprenticeship, in collaboration with Employer Services and Youth Services.

ü Market Teacher Registered Apprenticeship/Pre-Apprenticeship to school districts to increase the number of apprentices for new programs while expanding on existing programs

ü Support employers and stakeholders by generating events through roundtables, meetings, and conference participation

ü Participate in any new Request for Application process to receive new awards

ü Complete quarterly reports for the Office of Apprenticeship and grant funders

ü Collaborate to create a Memorandum of Understanding with partners

ü Assist business consultants and other Workforce Solutions staff in structuring and delivering apprenticeship opportunities to employers and independent school districts

ü Assist in the overseeing and development of customer-facing and system Teacher Registered Apprenticeship/Pre-Apprenticeship opportunities collateral and correspondence, and other materials for distribution across various platforms.

ü Assist business consultants and other Workforce Solutions staff in structuring and delivering apprenticeship opportunities to employers and independent school districts

ü Follow up with employers throughout the service cycle of apprenticeship/pre-apprenticeship to ensure needs are being met

ü Present and demonstrate Workforce Solutions value to employers, employer associations, chambers, and economic development councils in the Gulf Coast region—specifically on Registered Apprenticeship or Pre-Apprenticeship

ü Compile and analyze data to find trends based on employer needs

ü Building long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with external contacts and internal departments to create a better customer experience

ü Create and implement strategies to market Teacher Registered Apprenticeship/Pre-Apprenticeship and form collaborative partnerships that leverage resources.
