Work you’ll do:
- Develop responsive web front-end code using React to both rapidly create responsive web apps to meet end users’ needs and create a modularized set of front-end components that make it easier to maintain and reuse for future capabilities and applications
- Support the development of conceptual and logical solutions for desired products, features, and platform architectures to capture software requirements from a business perspective and develop tangible acceptance criteria for developer and testers to perform in epics, stories, and tasks
- Support agile teams as a technical lead in the identification of pragmatic solutions to address implementation challenges that arise to minimize technical debt
- Serve clients by developing responsive web code using top tier JavaScript tools to build applications quickly and efficiently to consume APIs and meet demanding performance and security requirements
- Support a portfolio of applications from a holistic standpoint in order to understand various complex product requirements, mitigate challenges and integrate software
- Support technical teams as a lead by enforcing best practices, coding standards and consistency across multiple delivery team

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience with web based development using Java/J2EE Technologies
- Expertise in full web stack development; creating and consuming REST APIs, expertise in tools, techniques and frameworks like Hibernate, event-drive architecture, and service orchestration
- Multiple years of experience using web development technologies including TypeScript, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React
- Must have experience using Agile project management tools (JIRA), and CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to travel 20 - 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. Travel not expected for this role.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise with additional frontend and backend frameworks / languages such as NextJS and NodeJS
- Experience using a test-first development approach to integrate React Testing Library, Junit testing and JaCoCo / Sonarqube code coverage reporting into the Jenkins build process
- Additional experience in developing and customizing Drupal modules
