Job Description
You are applying for a New Grad Associate Technical Program Analyst, with Technology Planning & Business Operations (TPBO). TPBO organization provides key business management oversight and integration across the Technology organization. This includes driving investment planning & budgeting, project & portfolio management, workforce planning activities, strategic initiative program management, executive reporting and employee engagement activities. The team is focused on improving efficiencies, transparency, consistency and collaboration within the Technology organization and other key cross-functional stakeholders.
As a New Grad Technical Program Analyst, you will contribute to a team that develops and manages end-to-end technology solutions for Visa's core business (credit and debit transactions) and key stakeholders as well as new solutions that promote the growth of digital commerce and mobilization.
Some job duties and projects could include:
- Provide program management support for cross-functional, large-scale, high visibility strategic Technology initiatives.
- Partner with key Technology and cross-functional stakeholders to drive key program activities:
- Manage program risks and issues.
- Engage with various functional areas on planning and execution.
- Support program status updates and decision making.
- Track program budgets, forecasts, and schedule.
- Support the day-to-day aspects of key initiatives, including overall management of scope, schedule, and financial aspects of the initiative.
- Support key strategic initiatives to drive global Technology workforce location strategy, mergers & acquisitions (M&A) integration, and the operationalization of global Technology & Product hubs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Less than 2 years relevant work experience with either Bachelor's or Master's degree. Degree type in Business, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, CIS/MIS, Cybersecurity, or a related field, graduating January 2023 - August 2024.
- Strong communications skills, specifically, the absence of repeated grammatical or typographical errors, clear and concise written and spoken communications that demonstrate professional judgment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Students with relevant internship or work experience
- The ideal candidate would demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Information Technology domain as well as a blend of project/program management skillset and a “make it happen” mindset.
- The ability to take on challenges and address problems head-on.
- Strong ability to collaborate.
- Highly driven, resourceful and results oriented.
- Good team player and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and navigate through ambiguity.
Additional Information
Work Authorization: Permanent Authorization to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment for this position. Visa will not sponsor applicants for work visas in connection with this position. Future sponsorship will not be considered.
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
