TITLE: Senior Technology Manager – Commerce, D&T

DUTIES:

Deliver technology solutions across all commerce and corporate affairs applications. Aid D&T (Digital & Tech) business solutions and operations organization with technical design, development and delivery of all applications. Set and oversee the architecture and development standards for all applications within the commerce and corporate affairs space and ensure that new or changes to existing systems reflect and enable the business strategy and accommodate changes to the changing business strategy.  Ensure each project is produced with the highest quality technical design while also actively managing the application portfolio to ensure a proper technology system architecture landscape is available and aligned for the future. Act as the application subject matter expert, translating business requirements into sustainable and adaptable architecture for a solution. Evaluate business requirements and technology landscape to identify and recommend the most appropriate technology. Collaborate with the business solutions team and third-party teams to ensure solution compatibility with strategy, standards and service model. Create and own the technical design to support business needs and priorities. Oversee the development life cycle, working directly with 3rd party development teams during development of technical design. Manage the application architecture, facilitating the setting of architectural direction for new and existing applications, evaluating new technologies, platforms and solutions against standards and objectives, and providing architectural guidance and oversight for D&T projects. Oversee project execution budgets, managing project execution budget for development teams – ensuring invoicing remains on time, aligned to expected delivery and deliverables.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered, as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or a closely related position. Five (5) years of experience must include: Working on integrations utilizing REST API; Working within the following environments: Saleforce.com platform, Apex Language, Visual Force (Pages, Components, Controllers & Extensions), Apex Triggers, Sublime Mavens Mate Plug-in, Developer Console, Force.com Beta Explorer, Workbench; Utilizing the following Salesforce technologies: Visual Force (Pages, Component & Controllers), Triggers, Apex Classes and Test Classes, Validation Rules, Workflows, Approval process, Dashboards, Reports, Custom Report Types, Batch and Scheduled Apex, Custom Settings, Anonymous Apex, Change Sets deployment; Utilizing Salesforce Integration tools, including Apex Data Loader, and Project Methodologies and tools, including Agile, JIRA, and Confluence. M-F, 40 hrs/wk. Salary: $170,000/year.
