Job Description:
Job Summary:
- This is a senior level position in application/system engineering.
- Responsibilities include defining controllers, analog IC and module products for AI and HPC applications, developing and debugging reference circuits internally and with strategic customers, writing datasheets and application/design notes, and providing technical support and training.
Essential Functions:
- Define and design power converter ICs, Power Modules and Controllers and 48V DC/DC module products, including isolated and non-isolated topologies.
- Develop application reference circuits and system level power management solutions for AI, HPC and Server.
- Support customer design-in activities including schematic & layout reviews, board bring up, system-level validation and debugging of technical problems.
- Use SIMPLIS simulation to optimize PDN, VR tuning and provide best solution to customers.
- Write datasheets, application notes, design notes to promote MPS products.
- Work with cross functional team to provide total power collusion for CPU, GPU, ASIC, and SOC.
Qualifications/ Requirements:
- 8+ years of hand-on experience in switch mode power supply designs especially in multi-phase core power design or isolated topology.
- Hands on lab experience using digital oscilloscopes, function generators, Power Supply, eLoad and network analyzers for the test and debug of VRs.
- Experience in using schematic entry, Simplis circuit simulation, PDN Analysis tools, and PCB layout tools.
- Self-motivated and can-do attitude.
- Fluent communication skills in English.
- Excellent writing and presentation skills.
- Prior experience in defining power management IC or power modules are highly preferred.

- MSEE or higher required
