Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing is seeking a Government Property and Logistics Specialist to join our team in Albuquerque, NM supporting a new program to test advanced concepts for the US Government.  The position will be responsible for developing procedures for government property accountability from initial acquisition to final disposition, movement of property between locations in accordance with applicable government regulations, customer contracts, and/or corporate policy.  In addition, this position will play a key role in developing a logistics support plan for the entire program. This positions will work both at our Albuquerque LEOS site and on Kirtland AFB as required to support program scope. 

Position Responsibilities:

• Develops, recommends and implements property administration policy and processes.
• Administers the terms of contract provisions that specify the company's obligations to acquire, control, use, care for, report and dispose of property.
• Maintains accountability from initial acquisition to final disposition.
• Tracks the movement of property by coordinating, preparing and documenting applicable forms to accomplish a change of ownership, accountability or location
• Verifies that property records accurately reflect inventory on hand and that equipment servicing requirements are established by responsible organizations.
• Interfaces with required levels of management and appropriate customer representatives to ensure that an approved property control system and logistics plan is in place and maintained.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).  A final U.S. Top Secret clearance is required post-hire.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 5 + years experience maintaining equipment inventory
• 5 + years experience with property control or asset management
• 5 + years experience with Material Management and Inventory Control

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Active TS clearance
• 5+ years experience with Material Planning and organizing

Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
