Responsibilities
- Build cross sites and cross uplink providers traffic management system based on DNS to manage the company’s self-built CDN PoPs, supporting user performance optimization and resource load balancing.
- Work with the team to build a traffic management system that provides one-stop solutions for edge services running on our edge platform.
- Design and build a control system that directs traffic following performance optimization strategies through DNS.
- Automate optimized traffic management strategies for global users.
- Design and build traffic mapping systems to process ~TB data in real time.
- Deliver traffic of video and application throughout the Internet.
- Build data pipeline and develop telemetry systems to support data-driven traffic control.
- Build pipelines for real-time network / user topology / server resource etc.
- Problem solving and performance tuning for online traffic.
- Work with the Edge Platform team in operating hundreds of PoPs and their networking and traffic around the world to run edge workloads (e.g. CDN cache, live streaming, gaming, real-time communication, etc.).

Qualifications

Qualifications
Must have a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience in the following skills:

- Designing and implementing software service architecture to support high throughput and fault tolerant services;
- Automating and managing the full release lifecycle, including code development, build, testing, validation, and deployment;
- Developing CI/CD tools in Python and writing automation Bash Shell scripts;
- Designing and implementing large-scale, distributed online software services using Java, Go, JavaScript, Ruby, or Python;
- Designing and implementing User Interfaces and scripts to automate common flows using HTML, JavaScript, Python, or Ruby; and
- Maintaining and debugging software.

Type: Full time, 40 hours/week
Location: Bellevue, WA
Salary Range: $184300 - $337250 per year
