Job Description

Responsible for developing and implementing Endoscopy Sales Training (EAM) curriculum. Curriculum and strategy need to be in line with the business needs; works closely with the sales management, marketing Clinical Nurse Educators and field trainers to manage and deliver Endoscopy Sales Training new hire on-boarding and advanced sales training, any additional product / procedure / business tool training.

Job Duties

  • Manage all activities and responsibilities for the development execution and on-going maintenance of Endoscopy Capital Training to include but not limited to: Manage the activities of the training team to support training needs with program design delivery knowledge assessment and evaluation of said programs to support Endoscopy initiatives. Collaborates with Instructional Designer SMEs and Field Sales Trainers (FST) in the continued development of optimizing LMS content.
  • Collaborates on the development of Endoscopy Capital education and training materials (presentations electronic media hands-on booklets) maintains the new hire handbook and facilitator guides with quarterly updates and information as provided by sales marketing financial and business stakeholders. Develop and implement evaluation methods with metrics to reflect effectiveness and impact as measured against key business objectives.
  • Establish Endoscopy Training best practices to include providing objection handling with current competitive products; identify new strategies and training tools as needed. Manage and facilitate in-house product training programs product launches and additional MSG Business training activities.
  • Oversees and facilitates in-house product training to include but not be limited to: defining performance objectives and measure effectiveness of training programs managing and updating tests essays and hands-on activities managing the feedback and trainee assessments post class and acts as training liaison for Advanced Training Meetings and product launches. Create agenda; identify appropriate faculty classroom activities and training materials for all product training classes to align with identified objectives. Works with SMEs, FSTs, and Training Director to coordinate classroom training assessments and workshops.
  • Assists in creating and/or reviewing materials for training classes and product launches to assure sales materials are properly represented aligned with current methodologies and techniques as well as key business strategies. Support Endoscopy Capital Field Sales Training program. Work with Manager of Endoscopy Training in the assignment and coordination of Endoscopy Field Trainer with Sales Leaders. Work with Manager of Endoscopy Training to support the tracking and analyzing of FST program via phone follow-up Trainer Progress Reports and FST checklists. Provide summary of progress with recommendations and communicate with appropriate reports to sales leaders. Work with Director of Endoscopy/Endotherapy/Respiratory Training team, partners SMEs and Instructional Designer to create a FST Guide for field based training as well as a checklist of key competencies and sales processes.
  • Strategic Planning and Collaboration Assist in strategic planning with respect to sales goals and marketing strategies to maximize revenue. Strategically promotes training programs and participation with appropriate communication. Project Management Manage special training projects from initiation through final execution. Work collaboratively with training department colleagues’ other departments and external consultants/vendors. Foster an environment of best practice sharing. All Other Essential Duties as directed.

Job Qualifications

Required:

  • Internal Experience: BA/BS in business. Minimum 3 Years Sales Experience with documented quota achievement required.
  • External Experience: BA/BS in business. Minimum 3 years of sales experience required.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and experience in curriculum or program development.
  • Knowledge of effective adult learning principles.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment across multiple departments.
