The Security Special Services Team encompasses Anduril's Crisis Management, Threat Intelligence, Investigations, Travel Security, GSOC and Executive Protection Divisions. ABOUT THE JOB

The Deputy Director of Executive Protection will assist in overseeing and directing the executive protection program at Anduril. This strategic role will focus on aligning the EP program with organizational goals and risk management strategies while enhancing operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in client relations, risk management, compliance, resource allocation, technology integration, and team leadership. This role reports directly to the Director of Corporate Security.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Assist in developing and implementing the overall strategy for the Executive Protection Program.
  • Conduct long-term planning for program growth and improvement.
  • Build EP policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop standardized operating procedures across all EP functions.
  • Support the management of the annual budget for the EP program and allocate resources effectively. Justify and secure funding for program enhancements and expansions
  • Assist in recruiting, hiring, and developing EP staff while managing performance evaluations and career development.
  • Collaborate with external security vendors and contractors, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
  • Work closely with other departments (HR, Legal, Travel) to ensure an integrated security approach.
  • Contribute to developing and overseeing crisis management plans related to executive safety.
  • Collaborate with the Protection Intelligence Manager to establish an intelligence gathering and analysis function.
  • Help develop key performance indicators (KPIs) for the EP program and conduct regular assessments and audits.
  • Maintain a comprehensive reporting system for all EP activities and prepare reports for senior management on program status and effectiveness.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and best practices in executive protection, implementing improvements as appropriate.
  • Maintain flexibility to take on other roles within the Security Special Services Program as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 10+ years of experience in EP management, with at least 3 years in a Sr. leadership role
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing comprehensive security plans
  • Strong understanding of security technologies and systems
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, ability to make critical decisions under pressure
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
  • Proficiency in security management software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Proficiency in OSINT techniques and tools
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Willingness to travel extensively, both domestically and internationally
  • Ability to obtain and maintain relevant security clearances
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities
