The Capital Markets team at BILL manages the liquidity and capital needs to support and grow our business. We are the liaison to lenders, investors and banking partners to secure new financing arrangements in the form of credit facilities, forward flow agreements, asset sales, etc., to support our lending products which include charge card receivables and working capital.
Our team drives success by being uniquely suited to develop our lending platform through product development and structuring, deal negotiation, implementation and operationalization.
This role will oversee daily capital markets activities such as debt facility management and reporting, supporting new partnership and deal analysis, as well as relationship management with third-party capital providers. We have the opportunity to work across departments at BILL to execute on business-critical strategic initiatives and oversee our funding strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the head of Capital Markets to manage liquidity for BILL lending products and assist with financial analysis for new sources of capital with external lenders and investors
- Opportunity to provide analysis to senior leaders and work closely with the finance team to provide updates on capital markets activity and financial impact
- Opportunity to play a key role in developing and scaling lending products and work collaboratively with different departments and teams at BILL
- Assist cross-functional teams with ad hoc projects and growth initiatives
- Support Capital Markets in building and maintaining data reporting such as enhancing our portfolio data tapes and supporting recurring business reviews
- Oversee daily operations on lending facilities, asset sales, partnerships, and corporate debt facilities
- Manage borrowing bases and monthly reporting to financing partners
- Prepare presentations and analysis materials for internal and external stakeholders as well as for senior BILL leadership
- Assist in the completion of various audit and due diligence projects
We’d love to chat if you have:
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, structured finance, or banking
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, STEM or a related field
- Experience with financial modeling and data set analysis is preferred
- Experience in capital markets, SQL and data warehouses is a plus
- Very experienced in Excel and experienced in Google Suite software
- Strong traits of ownership, organization and attention to detail while managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
The estimated base salary range for this role is noted below for our office location in Draper, UT. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in BILL’s bonus and equity plan. Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above.
