Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is looking for a Financial Analyst (Experienced or Senior) to join our team located in one of the following locations: Auburn, WA; Bellevue, WA; Colorado Springs, CO; El Segundo, CA; Everett, WA; Hazelwood, MO; Berkeley, MO; Herndon, VA; Huntington Beach, CA; Huntsville, AL; Long Beach, CA; Mesa, AZ; North Charleston, SC; Oklahoma City, OK; Plano, TX; Renton, WA; Ridley Park, PA; San Antonio, TX; Seal Beach, CA; Seattle, WA;  or Chicago, IL.. This position will support the B-52 Commercial Engine Replacement Program and will be working closely with internal engineers and program managers and the United States Air Force (USAF).

Position Responsibilities:

• Initiates assignments and leads integration and analysis of resource forecasts and/or Estimates at Completion (EACs) for control accounts, budgets, functions or pools; financial EACs for contracts or programs.
• Develop and analyze performance reports
• Initiates assignments and leads integration of variance analyses and provides understanding of operational and financial performance to senior management
• Makes recommendations to senior management on financial performance projections using financial and business knowledge and experience
• Develops, reviews, analyzes and maintains cost and/or schedule performance measurement baselines, including earned value, and variance analyses and communicates cost and/or schedule trends
• Provides subject matter expertise to troubleshoot process and tool issues, determine root cause and recommend solutions

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.  This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business or related degree
• 3+ years of experience in a finance related position such as Financial Operations, Material Cost Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA)
• 3+ years of experience with the Microsoft Excel application using: formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets

Preferred Qualification (Desired Skills and Experience):

• 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in Earned Value Management (EVM)
• Experience performing Estimates at Complete (EAC)
• Experience preparing and leading the completion of Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) (Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR), Contract Performance Report (CPR), Contract Funds Status Report (CFSR), etc.)

Typical Education/Experience:

Experienced (Level 3)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Senior (Level 4)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).
