Experience (CXP) team, and we are looking for a Principal Product Manager, Manager to join our team to help drive the next generation of our customer care, trust, reliability, engagement, and observability experiences. We are part of the Azure engineering organization and consider customer experience critical to the overall success of Azure. We create, define, and lead product offerings that set our customers, engineers, and field up for success, empowering them to make data-informed decisions. Responsibilities
As a Principal Product Manager, Manager on our team, you will have a direct and clear impact on our products and customers. In this role, you will lead a team of talented Product and Technical Program managers, work closely with talented engineering and Data Science teams, collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders across Azure, and have the opportunity to design, deliver, and iterate on new tools, applications, and Azure features. Our work has high visibility with the Azure leadership team and ample opportunities to share our successes and receive support and guidance from them. The scope of responsibilities includes:
- Guide teams to identify customers’ unmet or unknown needs and market opportunities for enhancement and development of feature(s)/feature areas (e.g., product, service) via quantitative (e.g., usage, telemetry) and qualitative analyses (e.g., customer usage, various listening systems, feedback channels of market and industry trends).
- Lead teams to perform experiments to test hypotheses and inform decisions on what new feature areas to introduce.
- Direct teams on prioritization and execution, assessing acquisition targets to enhance the migration offering.
- Provide strategic guidance to teams to define the long-term vision and strategy for the feature(s)/feature areas based on a deep understanding of customer needs, market and user research, the competitive landscape, and Microsoft’s business goals and strategy.
- Lead teams to develop problem statements and form hypotheses of new feature(s)/feature areas to address highly complex customer needs and/or market opportunities.
