We work hand in hand with the award-winning creative teams that forge those innovative partnerships at Translation (our in-house creative advertising agency).</span></p> <p>We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join UnitedMasters!</p> <p><em>This role is based in <strong>Brooklyn, New York</strong>&nbsp;with four days in-office and one day remote.</em></p> <h3><strong>What's the Role?&nbsp;</strong></h3> <p>We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team in Brooklyn, NY. The role will report directly to the Controller and will have responsibility for a variety of accounting areas and financial close activities. The ideal candidate will be a natural numbers wizard with a strong working knowledge of GAAP to apply principles of accounting, analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to maintain appropriate compliance and governance for the organization. In addition to recurring accounting duties, this role will have a heavy focus on driving process improvements and collaborating with stakeholders from around the organization to scale our accounting processes as the company continues to grow.</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt;">What You'll Do</span></strong></p> <ul> <li>Perform month-end close responsibilities (journal entries, account reconciliations, reporting and analysis, etc.)</li> <li>Provide insight to other Finance partners regarding the accounting impacts of business decision</li> <li>Assist the Controller compilation of information for tax preparation, and preparation of monthly and year-end close of financial reporting</li> <li>Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes</li> <li>Design, implement, and
