As our Customs Brokerage Regional Head of Operations,  you will oversee and lead NAM Region Customs House Brokerage (CHB) service delivery. You will also provide continuity to client relationships and stable leadership in NAM CHB and be able to work collaboratively with large operational teams as well as internal and external stakeholders. In addition, you will identify and implement service and product strategy to create environment conducive to business development.

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing customer service delivery experience for the Region

• Monitoring and maintaining KPI (Key Performance Indicators)

• Setting objectives and goals for realistic action

• Customer relations and retention

• Client and business relationships.

• Employee Engagement

• Overseeing rollout and implementation of company policies and initiatives.

What we are looking for

• Solid knowledge and understanding of CHB business, regulations and operations.

• This position requires to be a Licensed Customs Broker (LCB).

• Leadership and management skills and the ability to motivate and retain staff.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both internal and client facing.

• Commercial awareness and a thorough understanding of the competitive environment.

• Excellent planning and organizational skills.

• Project management skills and knowledge of methodologies such as lean management

• Time management skills and the ability to priorities effectively and delegate when appropriate.

• Auditing and monitoring outputs and data analysis.

• Excellent IT skills and knowledge of industry-specific software or programs.
