Responsibilities

Under the direct supervision of a Registered Dietitian, the Clinical Dietitian - Provisional provides services in the inpatient and/or outpatient setting. In conjunction with the Registered Dietitian, develops and implements nutritional assessments and care plans for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Acts as a liaison between Medical staff, nursing staff and other ancillary departments. Responsibilities involve providing nutritional counseling to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. 

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited Bachelor’s degree program in Foods and Nutrition and completion of a Dietetic Internship.
  • Current provisional licensure as a Dietitian in the State of Georgia.
  • Must obtain registration and licensure by passing the Registered Dietitian exam within 6 months of hire.
  • PREFERRED: 

  • Master’s degree in food and nutrition.
  • Work Hours:

    8am-4:30pm
