The Role:
The Administrative Assistant provides efficient administration and support to Women’s, Adolescent and Children’s Services (WACS) clinical staff and carries out associated duties in relation to the administration of the Department.
- Assist with the management of the administrative support systems for the Department’s offices.
- Provide personal assistance as required by clinical staff of the Department and undertake tasks such as keyboard services (including audio typing), minute/note taking, preparation of correspondence and reports.
- Maintain diaries and registers of appointments.
- Responsible to WACS clinical staff for the efficient provision of administrative and clerical services.
- Directly responsible for individual tasks with overall direction and guidance provided by the Head of Department of Paediatrics and Nursing and Midwifery Nursing Director - WACS.

Details of appointment:
Permanent, full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing 27 January 2025.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary:
$64,125 to $68,925 per annum + our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
