About the role
Rödl & Partner is seeking an experienced Administrative Clerk for our Houston office. This role will provide support to senior management and staff of the Houston office. It is a highly demanding position and requires a positive, self-motivated, professional individual with superior organizational skills, ability to work within deadlines, and ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously. The position requires acute attention to detail to ensure a high level of professional standards within a fast-paced and high-pressure environment. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is also able to work independently. The job duties of this position require someone who is comfortable working with financial data, software and internet technology. Essential duties include (but are not limited to):

- Prepare and mail client invoices monthly
- Maintain billing files and answer invoice-related inquiries by clients
- Maintain electronic and paper filing system
- Prepare certified mail and scanning of all documents
- Oversee and maintain the inventory of office and kitchen supplies
- Place orders for any breakfast or lunch needs for the office
- High-level expertise in MS Word & Outlook and PowerPoint with a working knowledge of Excel and Adobe
- Associate’s degree and/or at least 2+ years of administrative assistant experience or equivalent
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including letter/memo/email correspondence
- Ability to understand challenges facing partners and staff members and be able to manage/reschedule priorities effectively
- Demonstrated high-level client-service orientation, and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with maximum discretion
- Experience in a Public Accounting or Law Firm environment is preferred but not a requirement
