St. Vincent de Paul Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is looking for Life Enrichment Director to join their amazing team.
St. Vincent de Paul Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, in Berlin, NH, is an 74-bed skilled nursing facility offering short and long-term care in a warm, supportive atmosphere where residents are cared for according to their individual needs. Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Help create an atmosphere of warmth and calm within the facility as well as a culture that actively supports CCNH’s mission, vision and core values.Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate individualized pursuits of enrichment as well as activity programs
• Assume the authority, responsibility and accountability of directing the Life Enrichment staff members
• Plan and maintain an activity schedule suited to individual pursuits;
• Provide opportunities that will enrich a resident’s day
• Develop written Plan of Care (preliminary and comprehensive) for each resident that identifies the problems/needs of the resident and the goals to be accomplished for each as identified
Requirements
• Must be a high school graduate or have a GED
• Must have completed, or in the process of completing a training course approved by the State or have two years’ experience in a social, occupational therapy or recreational program within the last five years, one of which was full-time in a patient activities program (Life Enrichment) in a healthcare setting
• Creativity is a definite plus in this field
