As an Software Development Manager you’ll contribute to developing applications that streamline our internal operations processes while empowering our customers with tooling to drive revenue and improve the guest experience. We are on a mission to modernize and revolutionize our software systems, ensuring they align with industry standards while maintaining the value of our existing custom frameworks. You’ll play a pivotal role fostering a collaborative growth focused team culture and driving technical excellence. You will lead a cross functional team of developers & QA to deliver world class solutions.  

Your curiosity to continue learning, as well as a knack for problem-solving 🧐, will be key to delivering innovative products to our clients and their guests, as our team members are always looking for new ways to push the boundaries of what’s possible. We’re looking for people who are passionate about their craft and are always looking for ways to grow and improve the team and themselves. 

 

Location: Milan, Italy. The position primarily requires you to be in-office, but we offer a flexible hybrid schedule, allowing you to work from home for 1-2 days.

Reports to: VP, Engineering 

Travel ✈️ Requirement: Less than 10% 

 

What you’ll be working on: 

  • Leading highly talented engineering teams to deliver exceptional ticketing & guest experience applications for some of the largest attractions in the world 
  • Reenforce a culture of trust, continuous learning through structured OKRs 
  • Providing coaching, career development and mentorship of the engineers 
  • You will explore and advocate for new technologies or methodologies that can improve productivity or product quality 
  • You will expand collaboration with stakeholders to including but limited to regular updates, project demonstrations, and alignment on priorities 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on the technical roadmap. 
  • Ensure high-performance software development and robust DevOps & DevSecOps practices. 
  • Drive for and implement automation in testing, deployment, and monitoring. 
  • Work with stakeholders to refine the SDLC and deliver key roadmap objectives. 
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and collaborate to incorporate these into the roadmap

  • Selenium/ Cypress/ Playwrite  

What you bring to the role: 

  • 7-10 years of software engineering experience. Note: ‘years of experience’ may not always be the best measure for your ability to succeed in this role. If the below bullet points feel like you, please consider applying. 
  • 3+ years experience in managing and mentoring cross-functional teams, specifically developers and QA. 
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC principles, including Agile methodologies.
