Intervention Specialist -- Trumbull County Board of DD

The Trumbull County Board of Developmental Disabilities has an opening for the 2026-2027 school year and beyond for a TEACHER in its Fairhaven school-age program. 

POSITION:

• Intervention Specialist, K-12, Moderate - Intensive

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Providing instruction to students with developmental disabilities in approved or adapted curriculum areas.
• Developing and implementing daily lesson plans consistent with students' Individual Education Plans and the Ohio's academic content standards-extended.
• Maintaining classrooms conducive to learning.
• Conducting conferences with parents/guardians or other personnel. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ideal candidates must have, or be in the process of obtaining, licensure from the Ohio Department of Education as an Intervention Specialist K-12 Moderate /Intensive.
