Essential Functions:
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software, servers, and hardware.
• Deploy, manage, and support virtualized environments (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V, or other hypervisors)
• Implement and manage core infrastructure services (e.g., DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory, ect)
• Support programs with integration and deployment automation in a hybrid and on-prem environment
• Experiencing building and maintaining a cybersecurity system baseline
Basic Qualifications:
• Principal Software Engineer: 5 Years with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD, 4 additional years of experience may be used in lieu of a degree.
• US Citizenship with Active DoD Secret clearance with a reinvestigation date occurring in the last 6 years.
• Ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP).
• Experience translating system requirements into configuration code
• Experience supporting requirements testing and verification
• Able to work independently and identify solutions to complex problems
• Working knowledge of implementing Public Key Infrastructure
• Working knowledge of encryption in-transit and at- rest principles
• Experience developing and deploying a cybersecurity baseline for AAA services
• Experience with scripting system hardening controls/STIG implementation
• Experience with patch/configuration management in both hybrid cloud and on-prem hardware environment(s)
• Strong working knowledge of Windows and Linux environments
• Experience scripting in YAML, PowerShell, BASH, JSON, Python,etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Proficient with networking concepts
• Active Top Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering,
Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems
