Department: Kitchen/ Food and Beverage
Reports to: Executive Chef
Position Summary: Clean and Sanitize all areas of the kitchen and operate the dish machine in a safe, accident-free manner.

Essential Functions:
Attendance as scheduled is required.
Operating dish washing machine: maintain organization – proper rack stacking, silver presoaking
Sweep and mop floors. Keep floors clean and dry, pick up wet spills immediately
Clean walls, tables, racks, sink, floor mats, and disposal area. Polish stainless steel
Clean ovens, hoods, filters, grease traps, drains, hot boxes, steam tables, flat boxes, and ceiling vents, according to schedule or specified by management team.
Empty all trash cans over ¾ full at the end of each shift or asked by management team. Wish out and return back to kitchen.
Perform special cleaning project as assigned by the management team.
Neat in appearance and well groomed

Experience:
No formal education required
High school diploma or equivalent desired
Previous experience preferred

Skills:
Education, years of experience (related or unrelated to industry), computer literacy, hospitality skills, ability to multi task, language proficiency

Physical Job Requirements:
Bending, lifting, standing, stairs, walking, heat, heavy equipment, etc)
Continual standing (except for break period) working with extreme temperatures (freezer, direct heat) lifting (up to 50 pounds) continuous motion (active) operating dish washing machine, dishware handling, floor maintenance

Environment:
Hearing: able to hear direction, ie “hot pan”
Vision: must be able to check dishware for cleanliness, ability to asses cleaning requirements

Dish machine, pots, pans, smallwares, glasswares, flatwares, dishwares, racks, general supplies, cleaning chemicals,
