About the job

This position “Continuous Improvement Lead” is part of Sanofi Business Operations (SBO), reporting to Head of Benchmark, Improve and Change (BIC).

Benchmark, Improve and Change is the team leading SBO Continuous Improvement, Change Management, and Performance Management frameworks and their implementation across our Business Operations.

The primary responsibility of this role is to foster the performance of Sanofi, primarily SBO and its partner departments via continuous improvement strategies, methodologies and tools.

The CI lead has the mission to:

  • provide guidance on the proper ways of continuous performance improvement;
  • disseminate CI culture across the organization, including leadership;
  • as well as to contribute to or deliver performance improvement projects on demand.

About Growing with us

In this role you will…

  • Develop and provide methodologies and tools to stakeholders in their support of CI initiatives or programmes.
  • Provide consultancy, mentoring, coaching to CI initiatives.
  • On demand, manage CI/Performance Improvement projects, especially with regards to transversal ones.
  • On demand manage business process improvements with stakeholders driven by process mining data.
  • Support the assessment of the AS-IS CI maturity across the organisation and develop, propose and on demand, deliver strategies or programmes to increase it.
  • Contribute to the increase of CI maturity and business success of Sanofi
  • Design and execute a CI training program for Sanofi Hubs
  • Consolidate and document the overall continuous improvement activities into tangible productivity results and implement an effective reporting measurement of productivity.
  • Coordinate interdependencies between respective Service Lines to promote synergy and avoid redundancy.

About you

Experience:

  • 3-5 years experience in global business transformation environment, within GBS Shared Services industry or similar.
  • Certification in CI methodology (e.g. Lean Black Belt or above) is essential
  • Track record of CI tangible results and reporting through scorecard
     

Soft skills:

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including with Senior stakeholders
  • Excellent written and oral communication & inter-personal skills, ability to develop high-quality documents
  • Able to work in uncertain, constantly changing environment
  • Self-starter, initiative-taker, and ability to work independently under pressure.
  • Strong collaboration mindset with ability to work with a group of people with different functional expertise.
  • Multi-tasker, able to establish and keep priorities and timelines to effectively manage workload of self and others
  • Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere

Technical skills:

  • Knowledge/certification of Project Management methodologies is desirable
  • Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in business field
  • Languages: Fluent in English. Other language is a plus.
