Job Description
Purpose
This position oversees the U.S. Materials Review process to ensure it is effective in supporting business and compliance needs. This position provides support to U.S. Commercial Marketing and Sales Excellence team members, medical reviewers, regulatory reviewers and other key stakeholders to ensure the appropriate and timely review of all promotional and non-promotional materials developed by the U.S. Commercial Marketing and Sales Excellence organizations. The individual in this position must communicate openly and effectively with the U.S. Commercial brand teams and provide consultative and tactical support. This role serves as the liaison between all individuals within the process (marketing, sales training, medical review, ad-promo regulatory affairs, legal, OEC, IT, advertising agencies, print vendors, fulfillment vendors.
Responsibilities
- Acts as the U.S. Commercial Operations SME and understands all aspects of the Material Review process from review through production and release including a thorough understanding of the policies, processes and required systems along with knowledge of how to navigate the process and systems for most efficient outcomes and speed to market. Is decisive and is the decision maker when it comes to any questions related to materials review processes and systems. Understands intent of policies.
- Acts as a single point of contact between AbbVie and contracted vendors to ensure projects are progressing and vendor issues / questions are resolved in a timely manner. Maintains ongoing communication with vendors to ensure timelines and changes are aligned with expectations and business needs. Develops contingency plans and provides solutions to facilitate bus
