Outpatient Surgery Center Nurse Manager for Pre/Post/PACU
About the Unit:
The Outpatient Surgery Center (OSC) consists of 12 operating rooms with specialties of Orthopedics, General Surgery, and Bariatrics. The OSC has 12 Phase l bays and 28 comfortable recovery rooms each equipped with a private bathroom and television. Ten of the operating rooms focus on joint replacements. The unit also performs arthroscopic procedures of the knee, shoulder, and ankle. Two operating rooms are dedicated to bariatric surgeries (laparoscopic sleeves and bypass) and general surgery using the DaVinci robot system. Previous nursing management experience is required. BSN and BLS is required.
Job Summary:
The Nurse Manager has a 24-hour accountability for patient care and customer service (Service Pillar), staff leadership (People Pillar), quality improvement (Quality Pillar), financial viability (Financial Pillar), as well as strategic planning (Growth Pillar).
Requirements:
RN currently licensed in Kentucky
Bachelors of Science in Nursing Required
2-4 years recent leadership Required
BLS Required
