Position Summary
As a Senior Cloud Engineer on the Enterprise Data Platforms, Enterprise Tools Management team, you will be responsible for managing the Data Analytics and Engineering applications across the enterprise and lines of business. The portfolio of tools includes visualization, querying, and data wrangling enabling business across the Enterprise to use cutting edge technologies to operate efficiently. You will act as a technical expert for the tools and platforms, and will support strategizing solutions for business use cases, monitor existing applications for optimal performance, provide end-user support, and troubleshoot complex issues with a strong understanding of cloud architecture and design of security layers.
Required Qualifications
· 5+ years of experience with solution engineering/data architecture role in BI space
· 5+ years of experience using BI tools including Tableau, Tableau Prep, ThoughtSpot, Alteryx
· 5+ years of experience using databases including Teradata, SQL server, Oracle
· 3+ years of experience using Cloud technologies - GCP, Azure, AWS
Preferred Qualifications
· Highly skilled in design and solution engineering across cloud (GCP, Azure) and on-prem infrastructure
· Deep understanding of data lifecycle management (operational databases, warehouses, integration and governance, pipelining, analytics enablement, and reporting)
· Experience Integrating data from a variety of sources, assuring that they adhere to data quality and accessibility standards
· Exceptional decision making and strategizing skills
· Ability to work collaboratively in a highly matrixed environment to get alignment and buy in on strategy
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
· Highly motivated, independent worker, with a pulse on industry trends and best practices.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities, tools, and infrastructure platforms
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, stakeholder management
· Understanding of Agile/Scrum
· Cloud certifications / architect (GCP, Azure)
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or any other related field.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$101,970.00 - $203,940.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
