Compensation

At S&C, we are dedicated to providing competitive and equitable compensation for all our team members, and we are committed to transparency in our pay practices. The estimated annual base salary range for this position is $187,341-$248,229.74 Individual pay within this salary range is determined by several compensable factors, including performance, knowledge, job-related skills and experience, and relevant education or training. This role is also eligible for S&C’s annual incentive plan (AIP), subject to eligibility criteria.

Are you passionate about Production Operations? S&C Electric Company is seeking a Director - Information Technology. As a Director-IT, you’ll be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and supporting our diverse team. The Director - Information Technology oversees specific functions within the IT department, collaborating with various client groups across the company to identify and implement IT solutions that support business needs. This role requires strategic planning, leadership, and a deep understanding of technology trends and business processes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • IT Strategy: Develop and execute the IT strategy for Production Operations in alignment with the company's overall business objectives. Identify emerging technology trends and assess their potential impact on the business. Plan and manage the implementation of IT initiatives to support business growth and efficiency.
  • Production Operation Support: Act as a business partner to provide strategic direction and technology leadership to the Production Operations team. Partner with members of the Production Operations Senior Leadership team to identify both current and future technology needs for the group, ensuring extensive understanding of Production Operations strategies as they apply to S&C. Build upon strong relationships with key stakeholders, craft technology solutions to meet the needs of the groups’ strategic initiatives. Oversee the implementation and maintenance of production-focused technologies, ensuring they are integrated with other business systems and meet the needs of the function. 
  • Internal Application Support: Ensure internal applications are managed effectively to support the needs of the greater Production Operations function. Oversee a team responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of systems. Collaborate with other IT teams, such as Information Risk Management, to ensure comprehensive support for the production ops group.
  • Leadership & People Management: Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team. Role model appropriate and professional workplace behaviors, address/mediate conflicts to restore harmony, and support a positive, healthy, and inclusive workplace culture by S&C’s mission, vision, values, and guiding principles. Manage departmental administrative team member processes, including but not limited to recruitment, induction, vacation management, performance reviews, performance improvement plans, and workforce/succession planning. Proactively establish, monitor, and hold team members accountable to clear responsibilities and accountabilities; provide ongoing performance feedback, both positive and developmental; address performance gaps promptly; recognize and reward achievements; and initiate decisions for corrective actions and terminations where required. Foster a culture that supports the growth and development of team members and proactively train, mentor, and coach team members.
