Maintenance Mechanic

Job Overview

Responsible for performing preventive maintenance and repairs on building systems while ensuring safety standards and proper documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems

• Conduct facility inspections and report conditions affecting client operations

• Replace lighting and ballasts as needed

Safety

• Follow all safety procedures and maintain clean work areas

• Identify and report potential hazards

• Complete required safety training

• Handle hazardous materials according to policy

Administrative

• Update work orders in real-time using CMMS (WebTMA) system

• Promptly escalate issues to customers and management

Requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 1-3 years experience in general building maintenance, basic plumbing, and electrical

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs

• Work at heights up to 15 feet

• Frequently climb, bend, kneel, stoop, and work overhead

• Work in various temperature conditions
