About the role
<p><b>Job Description:</b></p><p><span>The Global Delivery division is responsible for onboarding all new clients onto Clearwater’s SaaS platform. As Senior Implementation Consultant / SME, you will work on a variety of client implementations to provide domain expertise in investment accounting, financial markets, and German regulatory reporting. You will be an integral part of a collaborative division spanning Analysts, Team Leads and Program Managers.</span> </p><p></p><p><b><span>Responsibilities:</span></b></p><p></p><ul><li><span>Develop and apply deep domain expertise to evaluate requirements and configure solutions to meet a wide range of investment accounting and reporting needs for Clearwater's largest clients.</span></li><li><span>Develop a deep understanding of Clearwater’s product.</span></li><li><span>Strategize with development teams to enhance our product offering, improve our client on-boarding experience, shorten delivery time frames, and develop repeatable, scalable processes.</span></li><li><span>Effectively communicate and collaborate with a global team to resolve problems and client inquiries accurately and efficiently.</span></li><li><span>Spread your knowledge by designing and implementing training materials and SOPs.</span></li><li><span>Managed assigned projects and coordinate necessary resources</span><span>.</span></li></ul><p></p><p> <b><span>Required Skills:</span></b> </p><p></p><ul><li><span>Knowledge of investment accounting policies and procedures</span> </li><li><span>Deep knowledge of:</span><span> </span><span>German GAAP (HGB) and German local regulatory reporting</span></li><li><span>Knowledge of: Securities or financial markets, especially derivatives, alternatives, structured products, and/or fixed income</span></li><li>Good understanding of the financial Instruments e.g. derivatives, alternatives, structured products and/or fixed income, as well as instruments specific in the DACH-region (e.g. <span>Schuldscheindarlehen,</span> <span>Namensschuldverschreibung,</span> <span>Inhaberschuldverschreibung,</span> Vorkäufe/ preemptive)</li><li>Working knowledge of specific processes in the DACH-region (e.g. Träuhänder/ trustee process, <span>Marktgerechtigkeitsprüfung/</span> trade control, stress tests and forecasting</li><li><span>Understanding of challenges in the industry (reporting, accounting, data...)</span></li><li><span>Proven history of proficient Excel use</span> </li><li><span>Ability to concisely convey information through verbal and written communication.</span></li><li><span>Dynamic problem-solving skills, and an innate sense of curiosity</span> <span>with motivation to continually learn and solve problems for our clients.</span></li><li><span>Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills</span></li><li><span>Fluency in German and English</span></li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Education and Experience: </span></b></p><p></p><ul><li><span>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline</span> </li><li><span>Relevant experience in any of the following: Asset Management, Insurance, FinTech, Investment Accounting, or Investment Operations</span></li></ul><p><span> </span></p>
