Consultant Software Engineer Defence - Test Automation (f/m/d)

Your Role:

• Development and optimization of software testing procedures for safety-critical electronic systems (e.g., military radar systems).
• Executing software tests, as well as performing verification and validation.
• Automation of complex testing procedures and processes.
• Analysis and design of requirements, ensuring quality and compliance.
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary groups, such as software development, electronics, and safety engineers.

Your Profile:

• University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Several years of professional experience in software testing development, integration and verification according to DO-178B/C or comparable standards in safety-critical projects.
• Experience in development environment on Windows, preferably Linux operating systems and in-depth knowledge of development processes (e.g., V-Model).
• Proficiency in programming languages (e.g. Python, C++, C, Java or Rust), test automation and experience in Test- and Requirements Management Tools, like DOORS.
• Fluent English in proficiency and very good knowledge in German.
• Willingness to travel for project purposes and undergo a security clearance according to LuftSiG §7, including obtaining a Ü2 security clearance and NATO Citizenship.
