Outside working hours if other than M-F 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.: Evenings and or weekends as required.

Job Summary and Description

Performs moderate complex work providing advising to students from entry to completion. Responsible for implementing the academic advising strategies and achievement of student learning outcomes. May provide services for special populations.

This position falls under, and supports, the Good Samaritan Veterans Outreach and Transition Center by conducting outreach throughout the Community promoting the Veterans Center. Does Special Projects as required.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree or a combination of relevant experience, education and training that equates to the required degree.
• Two years’ of related experience, preferably in a college setting. 

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Four years’ of related experience.
• •Veteran of the Armed Services or Spouse of Veteran.

 

Motor Vehicle Report is required in addition to background check and drug screen
