EquipmentShare is searching for a Warranty Support Specialist for our office in Houston, TX, to help the Warranty Team.
The selected candidate must be able to work independently, perform analysis, compile data and generate reports. Customer service professional able to collaborate with fellow team members and build customer and vendor relationships. You may be required to travel up to 5%.
Primary Responsibilities
- Process all paperwork necessary for accurate and timely processing of warranty credits including:
maintaining accurate filing system, reaching out to OEM’S in regards to outstanding credits or
discrepancies in received credits. - Review accuracy of all new equipment start dates in system and maintain data as required as well
as assist in the registration of new equipment. - Maintain records and prepares monthly reports as required or requested.
- Maintain accurate filing system for all service department correspondence documentation.
- Reviews and distributes vendor warranty information (service bulletins, manuals, letters, etc.).
- Tracking and reporting manufacturers’ campaigns and recalls.
- Perform various warranty audits as well as assisting in work order audits.
- Maintains accurate library of vendor information as it relates to warranty.
- Assist in establishing policies & procedures with new OEM’S as well as getting us set up for warranty
with new OEM’S.

Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma; Associates degree in automotive technology, business administration, or supply chain logistics (preferred).
- 2 – 3 year related experience
- Strong attention to detail, excellent proofreading and organizational skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communications skill, fluent in English
- Ability to perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division quickly and accurately
- Great multi-tasking, time management, problem solving and decision making skills
- Excellent problem solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, research and investigative skills
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Requires high degree of collaboration with Regional Fleet and Regional Service Managers
- Knowledge of small equipment and construction equipment preferred
- Proficient in Excel, Word, 10-Key by touch, Outlook, Smart Sheet, PowerPoint, Type 50 - 60 wpm and 10 Key by touch
- Construction equipment rental industry or dealership experience a plus
